Please wear appropriate weather clothing and footgear for working in the forest.
Which maple trees are the right ones to tap? When do you tap? How many buckets per tree? When does sap run, how much, and why doesn't it run on certain days? All great and important questions. Join Norlands' Farm Team and learn these answers as you head down into the Sugar Bush with the oxen team to practice your hand at tapping the 1870s way. Afterwards, feel free to head back to the Farmer's Cottage Kitchen to warm up with a beverage and some maple syrup inspired refreshments.

Others may stop at the Sugar Shack to watch the boil. EVERYONE can head to the Farmer's Cottage kitchen for a Maple Syrup Sunday snack!
